    Subject:
    Safety Recall G0H
2016 Model Year Sienna Front Driver and Passenger Seat Belt Height Adjuster Assemblies

On April 6, 2016, Toyota filed a Defect Information Report (DIR) with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) informing the agency of our intent to conduct a voluntary Safety Recall on certain 2016 model year Sienna vehicles.

    Condition:
The involved vehicles may be equipped with incorrect front seat belt height adjuster assemblies mounted to the center pillar. There is a possibility that, in the event of a severe crash, the incorrect height adjuster could separate. If this occurs, the seat belt may not properly restrain the occupant, which could increase the risk of injury.

    Remedy:
Toyota dealers will replace both front seat belt height adjusters and NO CHARGE to the vehicle owner.

    Covered Vehicles:
There are approximately 230 Sienna vehicles covered by this Safety Recall.
Also note that vehicles covered by this Safety Recall were not distributed to Puerto Rico.

    Owner Letter Mailing Date:
Toyota will begin to notify owners in late April, 2016.
