How to Identify Toyota Radio Manufacturer

    There may be times when you need to identify the radio manufacturer of your Toyota vehicle in order to repair or replace it. This post will help you quickly identify who the radio manufacturer is using the Faceplate ID code..

    *If you have a letter A at the beginning, then the unit is JBL manufactured with an Internal amp.
    *If you have a letter L at the beginning, then the unit is Alpine manufactured
    *If you have a letter E at the beginning, then the unit is Denso manufactured
    *If you have a letter AD or D at the beginning, then the unit is Delphi/Delco manufactured
    *If you have a number 1, 2 or 3 or A1, A2 or A3 at the beginning, then the unit is Fujitsi Ten manufactured
    *If you have a number 5, 6 or 7 or A5, A6 or A7 at the beginning, then the unit is Panasonic manufactured
    *If you have a letter P or T at the beginning, then the unit is Pioneer manufactured
