Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and Toyota today announced that their upcoming, jointly developed moon rover will be nicknamed the Lunar Cruiser, borrowing inspiration from Toyota's flagship go-anywhere Land Cruiser.
Well, when I say anywhere, I mean anywhere on terrestrial land. The moon requires a completely different car, one with a pressurized cabin and a fuel-cell electric powertrain.
