Prominent Toyota Dealer Roger Hogan Sues Toyota

    In a groundbreaking action, a prominent and longstanding Toyota dealer, Roger Hogan, and his Toyota dealerships in Claremont and San Juan Capistrano, California, have filed suit in Orange County Superior Court against Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. for fraud and breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing. The lawsuit seeks recovery of compensatory damages, plus punitive damages, for Toyota’s fraudulent scheme. The basis for the lawsuit is disturbing in terms of its implications not only for Mr. Hogan and his family but also for drivers of Toyota vehicles.
