Toyota Entune Remote Connect Immobilizer Registration after DCM Replacement
Condition:
After the DCM (Data Communication Module) has been replaced, Toyota Entune Remote is unable to
remote unlock/lock the doors or remote start the vehicle.
Recomendation:
The DCM must be registered to the immobilizer system in order to perform these functions.
After a DCM has been replaced and DCM activation has been performed, register the DCM to the
immobilizer system by referring to Procedure “H” and Procedure “I” under Immobilizer System
registration.
Immobilizer system registration (to enable Start Functions) can be found in the Repair Manual on TIS under Smart Key (for Start Function) Registration.
